read these terms and conditions carefully. By confirming a trip with us, you agree to the following:
Booking & Payment
In the first instance, please phone us on 07535 458729 or email: admin@socialisingbuddiesbreaks.com, and we will let
you know if we have availability on the holiday you would like. We will then send you a Booking Form, a General health
form and tell you when your deposit and full payment are required. A deposit is required of 20% of the total cost to
secure your place on the holiday. The full balance with any added extras (e.g. single room / door to door pickup etc)
must be made by the date specified on your booking confirmation. All bookings are subject to availability and confirmation by our team.
Holiday suitability
Our holidays are designed for adults with learning disabilities, autism and additional needs. We aim to create safe,
inclusive, and joyful experiences for all guests. If you have specific support needs, please let us know during booking, so we can tailor your experiences.
Carers and family members
Carers and family members are welcome to join must pay the full holiday price.
We encourage shared experiences and we do our best to accommodate everyone’s needs
Travel Insurance
All guests must have valid travel insurance that covers cancellation, illness, and loss of personal belongings. We are happy to offer guidance if you’re unsure what to include. We are not liable for any costs incurred due to lack of insurance
Medication and Health
Guests must bring all required medication, clearly labelled and in the original packaging. If any of your medication runs out, or is lost, our staff will assist in contacting local services where possible.
Transport
Central pick up points are provided at no extra cost. Door to door transport may be available for an additional fee…. Please require when booking.
Communication support
Our staff have basic knowledge of makaton and use visual aids to support guests with limited verbal communication. We’re always happy to adapt and learn to meet your preferred communication style.
Staff will take photos during the holiday to capture special moments. At the end of your trip, you’ll receive a free photo album to remember your experience.
If you prefer not to be photographed please let us know before the holiday.
Accommodation & itiniary
We aim to deliver the itinary as advertised, but reserve the right to make changes due to weather, availability, or
safety. Accommodation is based on (Shared/ single ) occupancy unless otherwise stated.
Group Conduct
If you (The client) displays disruptive/physically challenging or threatening behaviour then we have the right to terminate your holiday, and return you to your home at your expense. If this should occur, in these circumstances, no refunds or compensation will be paid to you and we may make a claim
against you for any costs and expenses occurred as a result of your behaviour. Please respect local customs, laws and fellow travellers
Luggage allowance
Most holidays include 1 checked suitcase (20kgs-23kgs) and 1 cabin bag. If you need to bring additional equipment, please contact us to discuss options.
Passports and Visas
For overseas holidays, guests must have a valid passport and check visa requirements. All foreign holidays most countries require passports to be valid for at least 6 months after your return date. If you do need a new passport ,or need to renew a passport, this should be done at least 8 weeks before your holiday. UK holidays do not usually require passports, but please bring some form of ID.
ATOL & ABTA
We are currently awaiting confirmation of our membership with ATOL and ABTA. Once approved, your holidays will be protected under their scheme. We’ll update you as soon as this is confirmed. Cancellations must be made in writing. Refunds may be subject by terms outlined in your booking confirmation and insurance Policy. We recommend reviewing your travel insurance for cancellation cover.
If we cancel
If we cannot fill the minimum number of clients for your holiday, we reserve the right to cancel the holiday and offer
you an alternative holiday or a refund.
If you cancel
If you have to cancel your holiday with us, we will need to be told as soon as possible by letter.
Here are the cancellation charges:
90 days or more prior to departure date: Loss of Deposit
89 to 60 days or more prior to departure date: 50% of your total holiday cost
59 – 30 days or more prior to departure date: 70% of your total holiday cost
29 – 15 days or more prior to departure date: 90% of your total holiday cost
14 – 0 days or more prior to departure date: 100% of your total holiday cost
Liability
Socialising Buddies Breaks is not liable for delays, injuries, losses or cancellations caused by third parties, natural
disasters, or force majeure. Participation is at your own risk. We recommend reviewing your insurance policy thoroughly.
