Greg | Support Worker
Greg has worked with adults and children with learning difficulties for many years, initially using music therapy and music workshops to engage people with dementia and adults with learning difficulties in care settings and the community. This helped Greg write his dissertation on the subject and led to his degree in commercial music. Since leaving his degree, Greg moved into the role of a carer, joining the Socialising Buddies team. Over 6 years ago, he obtained his NVQ Level 5 in Health and Social Care. Greg is also a full-time musician and event organiser, and spends some weekends performing across the Island and UK solo or in a band.

Carl | Support Worker
Hi, I’m Carl, nice to meet you!
I’ve been part of Socialising Buddies for nearly four years now, and I absolutely love what I do. I’ve built so many great connections with our clients, supporting them in their day-to-day lives, helping them step out of their comfort zones, try new things, and discover just how much they’re capable of. Watching someone’s confidence grow and seeing the fun they have along the way is the best part of my job. I’m really passionate about making sure everyone feels supported and included.
When I’m not at work, I love spending time with my family and catching up on my hobbies! You’ll usually find me watching F1, gaming, sim racing, in the comic shop or just enjoying anything ‘nerd’ 🤓
